Survey123 - Cached Answers - Error trying to parse XML model

I've setup a multi-page form which caches answers for a number of fields. When the survey is blank and fields are filled in, it submits fine. However, if I go back to the survey to submit a second time with new data and the cached answers it will fail to submit.

When the survey is first started it will display an error message:

"Error: Initializing form..."

"Error trying to parse XML model. URI malformed"

Does anyone know what could be causing this error and how it can be overcome? I suspect it is related to the caching, but I can't afford to disable this functionality.

Hi John,

Could you open a support case with Esri Support?  This may be particular to the structure of your form.

I am having the same issue.

My survey caches answers for a number of questions.  The original survey submitted just fine.  After that, I got the same error message as above when I opened the next survey. It allowed me to fill out the survey, but not submit it.
