Hello,
My organization is looking to implement a garbage collection program using RFID tags on the bins we're distributing. We'd like to use GIS to streamline the distribution process and for asset management. Ideally using survey123, or the other field apps.
After looking online it seems that Berntsen international/InfraMarker integrates with ArcGIS but I'm looking for other alternatives that are hopefully cheaper.
Has anyone successfully completed a similar project and willing to share some insight on their process, additional applications needed, etc. ?

You could try searching for RFID apps that auto-copy the ID to the clipboard so you can insert it into the form.
If you are able to write your RFIDs, you could write survey123 app urls with parameter (ID), so it will auto-open in the app.
I have used a keyboard app on android called SerialMagic Keys Pro that can take a code from a PIT Tag reader ( common in fisheries and wildlife) to paste it into an active cursor text box. It worked very well. There also used to be one called BluePiano, not sure if that is still around. Maybe this helps.

That's a shame. I was hoping that there might be a way around it using other third party applications to even open a survey123 URL.
Two or three years ago, it was possible to use a Survey123 template in App studio to implement your own features in Survey123 ->Solved: How to access survey 123 template for app studio 5... - Esri Community (this is probably how Berntsen adds support), however this is no longer possible.
