we are getting an error when uploading. repeating the same survey content works.

Yes, have done this process many times successfully, and we also know of many customers that have followed the steps outlined and successfully recovered their data from devices that are unable to send surveys, and then sent them from their desktop or a different device.

And the server message appears to be a default SQL Server error message, unsure why the sever would return this when trying to submit. More info can be found here: SQL Server Helper
