select_mult how to select the reverse answers?

This works perfectly when an answer is selected!

We have a target list of plants to look for, and I need to include the rest of the list in another field. Is there a formula that would give my all the plants that didn’t get selected?

I believe you will find the answer to what you are trying to do from this Esri Community thread: Solved: Select_Multiple - return what wasn't selected - Esri Community. I've given the formula a quick try and it does work for me so hopefully this solves your query.
