Report fails - failed to print map. Waiting failed

Hi,

I have a question where users can draw a polygon on a map but when we create a report, the records where people have not drawn a polygon fail with this message :

An error occurred when rendering by the report engine. Failed to print map for ${draw_the_area_available}. Waiting failed: 180000ms exceeded
Please see details in the recent tasks panel

Any ideas?

Same issue

Hmm... back to back posts with the same issue... I am wondering now if Esri is starting a roll out for a new update and it is hitting people as it goes live. I'd call support and log a case ASAP if not done so already.

This issue was a while ago, and effectively resolved (at least in my case).

You may still find that, from time to time, the report fails due to a web map issue. Rerunning the report typically resolves the issue. If you find this is true in your case, I would suggest nesting the "Create Report" action in a Do Until action.
