Hello,

I have a ranked choice question in my Survey123 Connect survey. When users try to rank the options (by clicking and dragging one), first the question responds by placing five of the options into order and giving an error message to "Please rank all the choices for this question."

However, even after the remaining options are dragged into the order, the error persists.

How long ago was this survey published?  Survey123 was updated yesterday, so you may try simply republishing the survey.  Do you have a constraint set on this question?

I published it just this morning from 3.19. No constraints a all.

Edit: after upgrading to 3.21, no change observed.

I noticed this "caution" note in the docs.  "All values collected in a select_multiple or rank question are saved as a comma-separated list, so avoid using commas in the name column of your choice list."  Does the rank question work if you use simple, single-word answers (no commas or special characters)?

Unsure if it matters, but are you using ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise (and what version)?  Did you have Survey123 create the new service or are you updating an existing service?

I did have commas so I can see why that might have caused an issue. It wasn't actually hyper-critical that it was ranked, so I restructured the survey into a select_multiple and that's working fine. I'll do a test with a fresh survey and update when I get a chance.
