"Position Accuracy Does Not Meet Threshold" on some phones but does on others

We use Survey123 to record GPS locations of trees we are recording data for with a 6m accuracy threshold. On some of our work phones the accuracy will get as close as 2m and they work fine, others will not get below the 6m mark so we cannot record data. There seems to be no particular reason behind which phones work and which dont. All are updated, location permissions are set to precise, phones of the same model will work or not and older model phones are capable of sufficient accuracy. I am curious if this is an issue anyone else is having or if it is a known issue.

I got rid of accuracy thresholds on all my forms. Reason is it can be difficult to predict field conditions. You can still record that info behind the scenes to QA/QC back in the office.

For example, dense buildings and trees can reduce signal quality. You may simply be seeing a larger error due to sky cover.

Additionally, if you are relying on the mobile device's integrated GPS rather than using an external antenna, that could also be a big issue. Integrated GPS can be quite bad, and I wouldn't be surprised at >10m error in some locations.
