Hi,

The creation date in my survey 123 data page says Jan 22, 2020, 11:26 AM

When I export my data in excel/CSV file it says "1/22/2020  7:26:30 PM"

Why are two different times showing up? Further, the data export is in (the wrong) military time but the data in survey123 is not.

Hi Winley,

The time in the csv file are stored as UTC time, while the date field on survey123 website shows the local timestamp.

Regarding to the military time issue, you could easily change it by right clicking the date field in csv file>Format cells>Date>choose the timestamp with PM option.

You can also check this online doc for date and time in CSV files here:

Hi, I realized this shortly after posting. However, the issue is that it is actually giving me a time that is 8 hours in the future. So it shows UTC time, then when switched to AM or PM, will show that time 8 hours in the future.

Do you know how I can fix this on my survey connect form? I have been reading dozens of articles but am not skilled enough to know what exact "type", "name", "default", "calculation" I should be entering to take the current time into consideration, and then do a "-8" UTC offset.
