Legality of Signatures via Survey123

I would like to move forward with transitioning our paper forms to Survey123 forms. But management is concerned about the legality of signatures in the form and also the security of them being hosted in the cloud. Can anyone share with me their experiences or opinions regarding the signature field in Survey123?

(We currently run ArcGIS Server 10.3.1 but I intend to begin upgrading to 10.6.1 post-haste. I'm still undecided between Portal and Hub/AGOL, though.)

I would suggest this is something you need to discuss with your legal counsel on what would be an acceptable electronic signature for your organization, based on the jurisdiction(s) you do business in.
