Hi all,, 

I have multiple feature report templates on a particular feature layer and these have all been working great - until Friday, when they all stopped working with the error:

Item specified by surveyItemId does not exist or is not accessible

To my knowledge there has been no change to the feature layer, there has definitely been no change to the report templates and the survey, whilst it has been republished recently, has only had items added, no items removed or changed.

What's the problem here?

Ismael ChiviteJames Tedrick‌ your help would be much appreciated here, our organisation can only bill the customer upon receiving said feature reports..

I'm having the same issue as well. I also get the error when changing the app preference (mobile or browser) although when refreshing the page the collaboration does respect the update

Hi all,

Same issue with my survey. Any suggestions? I need to get it working ASAP please.

Is this problem going away in some time or is it permanent until the fix is initiated?

One of our users is having the same issue with her Surveys in our Enterprise Portal, "I am trying to figure out why the accounts I have designated to submit (DDW Fieldworker, DDW GIS workgroup) are getting the following message when logging into access the survey. I also cannot open the survey with the account that I created it with. I save the survey with another name and designated the same groups and got the same result."  Could this be related?  Nothing has changed on our end. It was working fine until Friday as well.

Hi Jennie,

This might be a different issue. Could you please let us know which is the survey published version, and which is the version they used to render the survey?

If it is possible could you please also share the XLSform with us jxu@esri.com, so we can diagnose the cause of this issue?

Thanks for the help, the fix is now available for testing on our BETA website https://survey123beta.arcgis.com/, if the hotfix build passes the test, we will then deploy the fix on the production website next week.

Hi Ruth,

I am experiencing the same "surveyItemId" issue as all the rest but it appears that I still cant generate reports on the beta site either. It doesn't give me an error other than An error occurred when preparing.

Hi Matthew,

We know there is an issue raises "An error occurred when preparing." when printing a survey with a very long external choice list. We will have this fixed on 3.11 hotfix2, which will soon be available on BETA for testing.

I will let you know when the fix is available on BETA and production.
