Hello,
I'm working on creating a variety of surveys to replace some of the paper work order forms we have within the organization and as we're trying to build out a template to make it easier for the data to be put into out management system (Infor) one of the things we've decided is that using repeats to collect employee information when there are multiple employees on the work order.
That said, it gets super tedious to have to input multiple employees in each time you fill out a form for a different asset, especially when your crew is traditionally the same. (Of course there are times where the employees may differ, or the hours may differ or such, hence repeats).
Are there any solutions out there for either using the favourites system in a survey or a JavaScript function to populate/create repeats based on a previous response (eg. the user who's logged in, as it would be the crew leader filling it out)?
I did this with a defaults page inside the form. See here https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-questions/is-it-possible-to-auto-populate-previous-da...
Hope it helps
Thank you! I combined this a little bit with the solution you provided on this thread as well https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-questions/default-repeat-answers/m-p/1015684/highligh...
I found this to work beautifully but as I posted on the other thread I ran into a limitation on it being set in stone as a repeat count where as I would need the initial count set, and then the option to add/remove them. Any insight?
Thanks again!
I added 2 ways I handle this in the other post.
