I'm using Excel for Mac v.16.18 and filling out Survey123 advanced template to create a form. I have select_multiple questions in my form and each time I go to add a select_multiple siteHabitat or select_one in the first column of the worksheet, I get an error "Not a valid XLSForm type". The select_multiple has all of its options written out in the choices spreadsheet and works flawlessly when I test the form.

What is the best way to hide that error message and speed up my workflow?

That happens to me when I copy and paste between xls sheets and the reference to validate the data gets missing. If you trust yourself you can just remove the validation settings for that column but then the field also does not give you the choice any more. You can remove the validation settings on the Data tab -> Data Validation -> Data Validation...   -> clear all. Does that solve the problem?
