Hello,
I work in an organization of 400 people on many teams.
We have all our built surveys for the teams in Survey 123, one Data team designed them and now wants to make groups to allow group members access to the data collected in the survey.
Nothing else is needed by the team who's survey it is we built, just to extract a CSV as needed.
I am working on a county server, so my 123 viewers do not even get access to 123 app.
We made them field editors and they still cannot export a csv once they become a "group member" where their survey is placed. In theory this should work as all group members are able to manage the surveys in their groups.
Is there an admin setting that needs toggled?
Does anyone know how to fix this? It seems so trivial of an issue to contend with.
Please help.
Are they exporting from the 123 site or from AGOL? Some of these they need to be publisher since it makes an item and then you download that item. We have talked to Esri several times about this but no change yet. I would try changing a user to Publisher to test.
I would also look at ArcGIS for Excel that lets you live time connect to the 123 data. No download needed.
You can also script putting a CSV in a network location or sharepoint each night. Or dig into what they are using a CSV for and try to modernize that. Exporting CSVs is a rather old way to do things. Maybe a dashboard would really open their minds to new ways. We have the same issue where people are stuck in Excel all day since they are used to it but it can be very inefficient.
Hope that helps
