add 'mysignature.jpg' in Survey123 Connect

We have created a dozen stormwater BMP inspection reports, one for each BMP type, using Survey123 Connect.  One of our multiple choice, select one answer questions, allows the inspector to choose his or her name.  We would like to add an image of the inspector's hand-written signature, per the inspector selected, to the end of the survey.  In other words, when one chooses an inspector's name, 'Jay Hodny,' that person's hand-written signature, 'jay.jpg,' will show in the survey automatically, instead of having Jay draw it on the device screen in the signature field.  Is there a way to accomplish this in the Connect XLS form?  Or are there other ideas/workflows?  Ultimately, the signature will be passed/inserted into the report that goes to the owner or responsible party maintaining the BMP.  Thanks in advance. Do you need the signature to be the actual image used for an image question (signature appearance), so it can be accessed and used elsewhere as an image attachment in feature layer, or simply to be displayed on the form and feature report?

Currently there is no way to set an image for an image question by a calculation. A default image can be set for signature appearance, but that only allows one default image. You could add several signature questions to the survey, and make them relevant based on the user selected, and use a different default image for each one, that is in the media folder.

Another option is to use a note question type, and display the image in the note, from the media folder. It will not be submitted as an image attachment, just displayed in the note in the survey and feature report.

Hope either of these methods may work for you.
