Survey123 Answer Filtering Based on Previous Answers

One of the things that my field workers have complained about is that there are often times too many options in a field when we are doing are trying to do a very detailed collection of field assets. We would love the ablility to filter out answers that are taking place later in the survey based on answers give earlier in the survey. 

Currently what I am working on is pulling together a survey that has a few categories and I am refining specific type later in the survey. Currently the work around is creating multiple questions in the survey and just using logic. After the survey is completed I am going to work on merging them down to one column as no one feature will be collecting more than one of these questions. 

It would be really helpful if there was a "Tag" column on the Choices tab of the XLS Form for Survey123 that would allow you to build in logic to the answers and not just the questions of the survey.
