Building damage assessment after a disaster is conducted as field survey. It is dangerous and time-consuming work for local governments. It would be safer and more productive if the assessment can be done virtually, remotely, and online using Survey123 and full motion video captured by a drone.

Here are a few tools you might want to consider:

  1. GeoTube for ArcGIS: GeoTube integrates a YouTube video player directly within ArcGIS, opening up a world of possibilities for Emergency Management professionals. By watching YouTube videos within the web map, users can display the associated location, visualize the video path, and see the playback location as features in the map. This enhances the user interface and provides a comprehensive and intuitive understanding of the spatial relationship between videos and their geographic locations. https://www.nodeology.net/geotube/

  1. SiteViewer 360 for ArcGIS: By capturing your site with a 360 camera, you can immerse yourself in panoramic views, enabling detailed analysis and exploration from every angle. We have ArcGIS Online 360 demos available, featuring imagery of Hurricane Ian, Pittsburgh Steps, and Rails-to-Trails.  https://www.nodeology.net/site-viewer-360-for-arcgis/
