Field App only: Stop newly downloaded surveys from auto-starting.
This solves several problems:
- No old CSVs: Newly download surveys only load CSVs that were shipped with the survey rather than downloading the most recent CSV that is linked (External Selects). This is because when they auto-open, it skips the main screen where this check occurs. Presently, this means users have to: 1) Download the survey, 2) Exit the survey, and 3) Re-enter the survey to check for and download the updated CSVs.
- Easier to download multiple forms: Downloading multiple surveys in succession gets tedious as you have to manually close all the surveys you download. If you don't, you can have several surveys opened simultaneously, so closing or sending a survey just goes to the last one that was opened.
- More intuitive: No need to explain to users that the survey is "saved locally" because they will see it on their screen vs. opening directly into the survey which can be more ambiguous. The process of opening a new survey is the same as an old one.
- Simplified instructions: Instructions for new users can be simplified because the process for starting a newly download survey is identical to one you've had for weeks/years. Currently, a newly downloaded survey has a unique method of use (i.e., it opens directly into the survey, skipping the first two screens).
