Dear Survey123 Community,
I would like to propose the addition of a conditional feature for the "Thank You" message that appears upon survey submission. This enhancement aims to improve the user experience by offering a more dynamic, tailored post-submission interaction.
The Problem
Organizations often host multiple public forms catering to a variety of inquiries, some of which can be complex. Given their differing complexities, it's not feasible to consolidate these forms into a single offering. This makes navigating between related forms cumbersome for end-users.
Proposed Solution: Conditional Thank You Messages
I suggest incorporating conditional logic into the post-submission "Thank You" message. With this feature, the message displayed to the user could depend on their responses during the survey. For instance, if a dropdown or single-select option is included in the survey, the choice made by the user could dictate which "Thank You" message they see. This could also include an automatic redirect to another form or webpage relevant to their initial inquiry.
Alternative Solution: Seamless Redirection
As an alternative, we could implement an option that triggers a page redirect based on the user’s selections. This would navigate users to different web pages or Survey123 forms seamlessly, without the need for additional clicks or actions.
Benefits
Enhanced User Experience: Users would benefit from a more streamlined, relevant post-submission process.
Efficient Navigation: Enables automatic routing to additional forms or pages, cutting down on manual navigation.
Reduced Complexity: Negates the need to integrate multiple related forms into a single, overly complicated form.
This approach would be more efficient and user-friendly compared to simply adding a note or warning that directs the user to click on a link to another form or webpage.
Thank you for considering this feature request. I believe it would be a valuable addition to the Survey123 platform, benefiting both form creators and end-users alike.
Sincerely,
Reno
