Dear Community,
I recently had the chance to catch up on the June 2023 updates for Survey123, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. One of the features that particularly caught my attention was the ability to redirect users to a specified URL after a survey submission. This is indeed a phenomenal advancement!
Building upon this feature, I'd like to propose a potential enhancement that, I believe, could significantly broaden its utility. How about enabling users to programmatically configure this redirection URL? Specifically, I suggest allowing the URL parameters to be dynamically defined based on the respondents' answers to the survey questions.
For instance, if a survey question is optional and the respondent chooses not to provide an answer, that particular parameter could be automatically skipped in the configured URL.
This enhancement could potentially open up a multitude of possibilities, especially in terms of interfacing with other web applications. By using survey responses to filter or query these applications, we can create a more seamless and contextually relevant user experience.
That said, I am also curious to know if this sort of customization is already possible using Survey123 Connect? While I understand and appreciate the power of Connect, I must admit I have a preference for the accessibility and ease-of-use offered by the Survey123 Web Designer. Hence, having this feature incorporated directly into the Web Designer would be my preferred option.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and exploring this potential together.
Best regards,
Reno
