Video link in StoryMaps - only certain providers allowed?

Hello,

I am trying to use a video link in any StoryMap (I tired several types) that is hosted in an Omeka instance. The links fail to be uploaded, with the error msg "This URL was not recognized, please try a different link" 

Links (both to the same video):

The size of the video is quite large so cannot be uploaded.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on here? Are there limited hosting service providers allowed? (If so, is there documentation/a list of what those are?)

Hi @AmandaT1 -- That appears to be a provider that is not supported by the service used to validate media links. The list of supported providers is documented here.

You can use one of the supported providers to get a nice video experience or add the video from your existing provider using the Embed option from the block palette (but the experience will not be the same as a supported provider).
