I'm building a public-facing story map using sidecar blocks with media action buttons to focus the map on particular map extents. The media action button appears as a thin border around some text and the page background colour, making it not obvious it's a button. It's also impractical to type the instructions inside the button.

How can I format media action buttons in a sidecar to make it more obvious, or at least match the format set in the theme for a basic button? Why does the media action button not take on the button format as set in the theme?

Thanks,

@DARRYLBEER - Thanks for sharing your feedback about the media action button styling. Making the action button a different style than the button block was an intentional choice by our designers since they serve different purposes (triggering content changes in your story's sidecar vs.linking to external resources). We realize you have a preference for a different style, which is understandable.

We don't have plans to offer any new action button styles at this time, but if you would like to customize the styles of the action buttons you can utilize our new advanced embedding feature. It unlocks the ability to add new functionality and customer the styles of anything on the page. Learn more about it at the links below:

If you'd like to see additional action button styles in the story builder, please add an idea to our ideas board so others can vote for this request and share their support for it.
