Image caption text not updating (or being removed) after being edited and StoryMap republished.

Adding an image with a caption to a StoryMap seems to work fine initially, however when editing the caption text and then republishing, either the caption text disappears or the text appears unedited. I've been finding I have to check all edits made to image captions after publishing, and then edit and publish again for many of my attempted changes. I initially noticed this issue occurring prior to the most recent StoryMap updates released. Would be great if this issue could be resolved. Thanks!

@GregoryHanton @MelissaDollman -- I am sorry this bug is affecting your work.

We are now tracking this issue via Esri Support issue BUG-000178959. There is a documented workaround: if you add attribution to an image first and then add a caption, nothing will get unexpectedly removed.

We are working on a fix for this and expect it to be in our next release around Sept 10.

Oddly I am having the exact issue. I have to replace citations over and over and over because they disappear routinely. Sometimes from days prior. It's slowed me down IMMENSELY. It seems to solidify the captions after 2 days, but I have to check every day for those that have disappeared.

Please fix this.

I am spending the morning putting the citations back in that inserted yesterday. The ONLY workaround is to place them in the Attribution field of each image, so I do not have to rewrite them all from scratch. It makes for redundancy but way more time on my part.  In the older version of ArcGIS Online this was a problem, but it is way more of an issue now.
