In ArcGIS StoryMaps there are Briefings. Once finished making your Briefing and it is time to present all the pages, your options are click the page arrows or use the keyboard arrow keys. Adding Scroll Wheel functionality would be helpful for navigating. This may not be desired for all creators/users, maybe this can be an option at the top in the 3 dots under briefing settings. I am curious of other people's thoughts too. Maybe using a "Stories" instead is the desired workflow.

Status changed to: Needs Clarification

@Nick_Creedon -- Thanks for sharing this idea. Can you clarify how you're thinking the scroll wheel would work? Would the slides be stacked vertically and you'd scroll through them or would the scroll wheel still move through slides in the current horizontal navigation mode?

Right now, the briefing doesn't have animation. If you use the arrow key or click the arrow on the screen, it "blinks" to the next page. Enabling the scroll wheel to toggle between pages was my initial thought. Power Point works this way when presenting.

You have me thinking though Owen, you could add slide animations. Horizontal, Vertical maybe something with a little more pizzaz. This would replace the "Blink" transition from page to page. This would just be an option that could be enabled, and it could give the briefing a little more character.
