I have created a map tour with multiple slides. Within each slide I have 1-5 pictures in the picture media box. I have a combination of portrait, landscape, or cropped images as they are pulling from old media.
In the Tablet and Desktop views the end user has the ability to click the image and enlarge to see the FULL picture and then browse through them all. However, on mobile devices the enlarge is not an option. This then forces me to go one by one, slide by slide, picture by picture and decide if I need to change it from the default Fill (crop) to the Fit (do not crop) to properly display images on mobile devices. I have 20 slides, so as you can image this took awhile to go one by one.
I reached out to Support and they said it is intended not to have enlarge on mobile devices via the Map Tour and they directed me to another post that briefly mentions it on a different question that the reason was because the enlarged photo does not get much bigger on a mobile device.
I think it would be nice to have the enlarge option on mobile devices. In my case it wouldn't necessary be for making the picture bigger, but to see the entire picture, in the event I want my picture slide show in the media frame to show it cropped to keep it consistent until it is clicked on AND so I don't have to compare the two settings for each picture to try to decide which is best, saving some time on development.
