Slideshow: Advance the story rather than replay

I'm wondering if anyone else would like to have the option to change the "replay" button at the end of a Slideshow immersive block to a "continue reading" button?  This would allow the user to click where their cursor already is to continue down the story rather than having to scroll (after maybe inadvertently clicking back to the first slide like I do all the time).

Similarly (probably should start a new Idea), because of the horizontal nature of slideshows, I've always found it a bit awkward to scroll to just the right level so that surrounding content is hidden and so that when I advance to the second slide, the screen doesn't jolt into position.  In other words, it would be great if the browser could identify that you were scrolling into a slideshow block, and it was gently and automatically centered (vertically) in your view.  I think this would improve the experience in situations where a slideshow is used as part of a presentation.

Thanks!
