I do realise Infographics are very much in Beta, and I do hope one day StoryMaps will allow data fields to be embedded into a story, however, I'd be great if it were possible to have more than one Infographic on a line

@JonathanMcD -- Thanks for sharing this feedback. We are already working on providing the ability to add infographics side-by-side. The experience will be similar to adding charts side-by-side.

There were a few other updates we wanted to make to infographics first, and those will be released in a week or so. Once those are done, we'll resume work on the side-by-side layout and hope to release it sometime over next next few months.

@JonathanMcD - I'm not quite sure what you meant by embedding data fields in a story, but if you would like that idea to be considered, I would recommend that you create a separate idea for that and include additional detail about the use case and workflows that you envision.

@OwenGeo  - Hi and thanks for both responses. I suspected the infographics would be developed upon, and quite quickly, given they are such a new addition. Looking forward to seeing what's released in the next few months.

Regarding the data fields, I will create another post for that. The basics of the idea is to allow attribute fields and their values from a hosted feature layer to be in a text or other style element (infographic or table). For example, I want to create a StoryMap briefing** note in which I always want to show the very latest facts and figures eg; population, employment, budgets etc., but what I don't want to do (as I'll forget) is edit the StoryMap each month just to update figures that I already have within a hosted feature layer.

**just to be clear, I'm not meaning a StoryMap Briefing I'm referring to a briefing note, a "state of play"
