Is there anyway to search for a keyword in all story maps within a collection?
For example if a user wants ro read about a specific topic in a collection that contains many long story maps and don't want to scroll through them all?

Providing text-based search across all the items in a collection isn't something we have in our plans right now, but I'll transfer this post to the Ideas Board so others can register their support for this idea and add more details about how this feature might be useful to them.
For now, you could consider using the "Journal" collection layouts since it shows the story descriptions. Those would provide more information about the content of each story, and readers could even use the browser page search on the overview page to find keywords. However, one thing to note with this suggestion is that the Journal layout isn't the best for collections with "many" stories, which you mentioned you have in your case.
Another thing you could try would be to create an "index" story for your collection. The index story would provide summaries of all the other stories. Readers could use the browser page search to search for keywords in this story and then know which story to go to for more information about the topic they are interested in.
