Prevent StoryMaps from auto-adjusting the size of images

I've noticed that when I try to upload image files to StoryMaps - if they are smaller, the platform will auto-adjust them so they are larger. The downside to this is that it will reduce the quality of the images, but they also take up way more space than needed on the project.

For example - the image on the right is the original/actual size, while the left is the version of how it appears when uploaded to StoryMaps:

I reduced the size of the image, but it still maintains the same size in StoryMaps and ends up being a little pixilated.

Changing the format also doesn't adjust the size of the image - so if I decide to do the wrap text format:

It would be helpful if StoryMaps preserved the size of smaller images to the actual size! Occasionally I would like them to be smaller for aesthetic purposes. When I directly upload an image, there also isn't an option to crop it and make it smaller, and the edit settings don't reduce the size of the image (just change the shape).

Thank you!
