Now that the Story Map Builder has auto save, if something iis accidentally deleted, there is no way to undo that action. Adding an undo option would help reduce frustration and lost work.story maps builder next gen story map story maps beta
A student here has just lost 3 weeks of work, her entire final project due in 5 days, because StoryMaps froze during an edit and somehow erased the contents of a sidecar containing all of her slides. Autosave of course immediately wrote that change to the app and because there is no undo, there was no way to retrieve her lost work. USers have been asking for an undo for 2 or 3 years now. This is an absurdly basic and necessary function to the this tool that Esri needs to stop ignoring.
This is something our development team is currently working on. We are excited to be reaching the final stages of this long-term and complex project, and we believe undo will be ready for release in a few months, sometime before mid-year.
