It would be great if you can set an option to keep the current zoom level in sync between all maps within a storymap. Why? Because I created several storymaps with multiple maps within a storymap. Often in combination with sidecars.
Current situation:
1. The user viewing the storymap zooms and pans to a certain location on the first map. For example to check his personal area of interest.
2. The user continues to another part of the storymap with another map.
3. The user has to zoom in again to find the same spot again. Especially when using a lot of maps this can be quite annoying for the user.
Proposed situation:
1. The storymap-creator checks a box at the map-options to keep the current zoom level (bounding box) in sync.
2. The user viewing the storymap zooms and pans to a certain location on the first map. For example to check his personal area of interest.
3. The user continues to another part of the storymap with another map.
4. The zoom level of the first map is kept and he can immediately check is own area of interest.
