Add VR Images to Story Maps

Since Google has discontinued the Google Earth VR Tour Creator - I wish there was a way to add VR photos to Story Maps. It would be such a neat interactive to have a Map Tour or Sidecar - and if someone went to the location there were be an interactive VR photo with it.

Right now, I add the photos to Thinglink and then embed it in Story Maps! But it was would interesting if the program was able to render the images as VR/360 just in Story Maps itself.

We are also getting many questions and requests about this feature. We have created several 360 VR tours around the arctic areas and Greenland with the potential of utilizing this with our field planning and education. But people are asking why it is not possible to have a click pop-up with the option to show real 360 images and maybe also videos.
