I collected data along two perpendicular transects (in a "+" shape) and would like to create a prediction surface map using interpolation. What interpolation method is best for taking the trends in my data into account?
I tried using ordinary kriging but, as expected, the resulting maps are not helpful and do not reflect the data values I have. I am attaching a surface map created using ordinary kriging as well as a post map that shows the rough distribution of these same data using a different method.
I am using ArcGIS 10.2 on a Windows PC and my dataset is relatively small (between 10-15 samples for the surfaces I want to create).
