I have tried to do a interpolation using IDW and Kriging. Both give the same error.
I have previously cleaned my temp files in Windows by Ccleaner and think that it could be the problem, since I have used the interpolation before without any problem.
Have you installed the latest service pack? If this is with ArcGIS 10.0, try turning off the background processing (Geoprocessing menu > Geoprocessing options).
when I turn off background processing this works (great) but I have identical machines that work just fine in background processing. I don't understand why some would work and others wouldn't. They are all running SP2 for 10.
