The current release of the ArcGIS Runtime SDK for WPF is version 10.2.3 announced back in May this year in this blog post: Announcing the 10.2.3 Release of ArcGIS Runtime SDK for WPF! | ArcGIS Blog‌. The 10.2.3 release was very focussed and targeted a few specific issues as discussed in the blog post above and in more depth in the release notes linked from the post.

The previous 10.2.2 release in March 2014 was a slightly larger release as announced here: 10.2.2 release of ArcGIS Runtime SDK for WPF | ArcGIS Blog‌, but again was still primarily focussed on quality and performance.

Prior to 10.2.2 was the much more significant 10.2 release of the ArcGIS Runtime SDK for WPF unveiled in this post back in October 2013: Version 10.2 of the ArcGIS Runtime SDK for WPF is now available! | ArcGIS Blog. Note we skipped a 10.2.1 version number for consistency across the ArcGIS Runtime products and with the rest of the ArcGIS system. The 10.2 release introduced many, many new features and was particularly exciting for those developers already working with .NET 4.5 and looking for Task support in the API.

Just over a year ago (early July 2013) we announced in this blog post - The history and future of the ArcGIS SDKs for .NET | ArcGIS Blog‌ - we had started work on a new product called 'ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET' which combined all our experience in building APIs for .NET developers into one single SDK catering for Windows Desktop (WPF), Windows Store app and Phone developers. In fact, it started out life even earlier that year, in March 2013 with an announcement about a new ArcGIS Runtime SDK which enabled you to build ArcGIS apps for the Windows Store (ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Windows Store apps Beta is available! | ArcGIS Blog).

In March this year, coincidentally just around the time of the Dev Summit, we gave you the first beta release of the new ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET: ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET 10.2.2 Beta is available! | ArcGIS Blog‌. Many of you have downloaded the SDK from the beta community site and have been providing us with excellent feedback on bugs and enhancement requests.

Some of you told us of your concerns regarding migration from the existing ArcGIS Runtime SDK for WPF to the new ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET. In this blog post (Getting ready for the new ArcGIS Runtime SDK for the Microsoft .NET Framework | ArcGIS Blog‌) we provided several tips which you can follow in the existing ArcGIS Runtime SDK for WPF (10.2, 10.2.2 or 10.2.3) and will ease your migration to the new API.

In April at the Microsoft Build Conference, Microsoft made some exciting announcements about Windows Phone 8.1 which allow our new .NET SDK and your apps to share much more code across the Store app and Phone platforms as explained in this post: ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET and Windows Phone 8.1 | ArcGIS Blog‌.

The first opportunity for you to get your hands on this change was in the 10.2.3 beta of the .NET SDK announced here: ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET 10.2.3 Beta is available! | ArcGIS Blog‌. Again, many of you have downloaded this latest beta and continue to provide us with excellent feedback, for which we are extremely grateful. The team is working hard to address all the feedback and later this summer we look forward to the first release of the new ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET... look out for the blog post!
