Installing ArcGIS Runtime SDK for QT on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS WSL2

I am trying to install the SDK for QT on the WSL2 Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.

I downloaded the tar.gz from the Downloads, unpacked it and ran the Setup file. The initial installer finished successfully but the post installer is blank.

Is it not supported for WSL2?

Hi @RitvikRanadive . Thanks for reaching out to the Qt team.

We've not tested or certified on WSL2, so it's not technically supported. That being said, we require full GPU acceleration on Linux (not Mesa or software rendering). If you can make sure you have hardware GPU drivers installed, it "should" work.

Let us know if that helps. It is a configuration we're looking to support in the future.

Another good test would be to see if you can run any of the OpenGL Qt example apps (or any QtQuick-based Qt app) on WSL2 and see if those work.

Sorry for the late response, I was intending to use ArcGIS with QT framework and I was facing issues also in installing the QT framework on WSL2...so I am no longer using this with WSL2 and using it on a regular ubuntu installation and everything works as expected...
