What is the difference between ArcGISRuntime and ArcGISRuntime.WPF?

The NuGet ArcGISRuntime is V10.2.7.1234 and the NuGet ArcGISRuntime.WPF is v100.0.0.  In Author, edit, and save maps to your portal—ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET | ArcGIS for Developers, it seems that both have to be loaded.  Is that OK?  Elsewhere I've seen discussions that indicate ArcGISRuntime.WPF is a update to V10.2.7.1234.  Is that right?

We're working on also updating Esri.ArcGISRuntime to v100. All it would be though would be pointers to the individual platform-specific nuget-packages like Esri.ArcGISRuntime.WPF / .UWP / .iOS /. Android.
