Hi,

Trying to get some clarity on the 100.6 lifecycle (Xamarin Forms) in relation to iOS 15.x.  With this going into mature support about the time of iOS 15.x release, is the 100.6 considered fully supported on iOS 15.x.

Thanks

Thanks,

Hi Joe,

Version 100.6 entered the Extended Support phase in Sept 2020 and is now in the Mature Support phase as of Sept 2021. Products/versions in the Extended and Mature Support phases are not certified for major new versions of operating systems. There is additional information in:

Product Life Cycle - 100.6

Esri Product Lifecycle Support Policy

We have had to make some fixes/enhancements to account for changes in iOS since 100.6, typically around location privacy and deprecation of associated iOS APIs. For example, 100.7 included changes to accommodate the iOS 13 'Allow only once' location permission and 100.10 included changes for the iOS 14 precise/approximate location permissions.

We will be certifying the upcoming 100.13 release on iOS 15.

Thanks
