Does not install on mac

Hello,

I am trying to install the package on my mac but getting an error message: "The Installation failed".
my system is 10.8.2
Whats wrong?

It should just work. Try re-downloading the package or restring your mac. Also, the new version of ArcGIS SDK for iOS is available now.

Did you check the console for error messages?

No. How do I do that?

Can you check the /var/log/install.log file?
It may contain clues as to what's going wrong.

The file has nothing since Nov 26.

Ok then, let's try something else.
Can you open up the Console application and then try re installing the SDK. Make sure the Console app is open and you can view it along side the installation wizard. The console app is a nice way to troubleshoot issues on the mac. More info about it here.

Let us know if you spot any logs related to AGS appear on the console.
