Is there anyway for a AGSPictureMarkerSymbol or some other type of symbol be able to hold a UIImageView as opposed to just a UIImage? This would be very helpful.

Thanks!

Sorry, there is no symbol in ArcGIS for iOS SDK which supports animation. We'll look into this requirement.

Unfortunately, no, there is no symbol which can hold UIImageView. What is your use case? Why you want to use UIImageView as part of symbol instead of UIImage?

We would like to have a point on the map that does an animation through three images which is possible using a UIImageView that goes through three UIImages instead of being a static image. All in all, we would like the icon for the point to have a pulsing effect much like the GPS images expanding ring.
