Why do this fail?

I can go to the endpoint

http://sampleserver3.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/Fire/Sheep/FeatureServer/0/applyEdits

and add these parameters to the applyedits box

AND MY EDITS APPLY AND WORK

I just want to send this via url like

WHY WON't the URLs work???
