I have a major issue with my ArcServe that i've yet to find a reason for. If more than two pooling instances are used for caching at the same time, none of them actually work (ie if three isntances or more are used) sometimes arccatalog will give me an erro message, but most of the time catalog and desktop will not give me any errors, but stay stuck at it's own percentage. The reason i know that three or more instance will crash all of them is my systems perfmon program, two will use apx 12% of my servers cpu a piece, but three or more will only do a few seconds of cpu usage before idling at zero without ever changing until a cancel the cache (wich more often than not crashed catalog or arcdesktop). is this a known or common issue? How can i fix this?
