I have created feature layers online and now I want to edit them in ArcGIS Pro.  But I can't edit the Domain because they show up as Read Only.  How can I get so I can edit domains in ArcGIS Pro.

My goal is to add GPS Metadata Fields to existing layers but without being able to edit the Domain I can't do that unless there is a way to do it in ArcGIS Online.

How can I get this to work?

It isn't currently possible to modify a feature service domain in ArcGIS Pro.  It is a popular request (https://community.esri.com/ideas/12962 ) - it's just that the way domains are stored in a geodatabase (which is what Pro understands) and how they are stored in a service (which is what ArcGIS Online understands) is different.  So a "translator" needs to be built so that everything works between the two applications.  That's my understanding of it at least.
