Prior to Pro 3.0, there was a CAD option in the options list. Where did that go and is there a way to add it back?

@AdrianWelsh

You can find the reference to CAD option at Pro 2.9 documentation:

https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/2.9/help/data/cad/cad-options.htm

The option was deprecated at ArcGIS Pro 3.0 as a fix to BUG-000113773 ('Automatically convert the CAD file to a set of geodatabase feature classes' option does not work). Suggest using CAD To Geodatabase

Hmm, that is a bummer! The former functionality is far different than what that tool does. This tool is super simplified whereas the former option broke down each level/layer into a separate feature class. I suppose it's not worth mentioning as an idea since it was once existing and now extinct.

Thanks for letting me know.

If the proposed GP tool does not provide parity with the deprecated CAD option - please add an Idea to enhance missing features.
