Unable to create field group with a field I have as an input join field

Hi,

Here is my issue: I created contingent values with a layer and everything worked well. I then added a join to my layer (the input join field is one of my contingent field value. Since then, the contingent values has stop working. I tried everything again, but even when I try to add a new field group, the field I am interested in is not being showed. How come? Is there a workaround to this problem ?

If you remove the Join, does the Contingent Values return to normal behavior?

When I remove the join, everything works normally, yes.
