Why does Traverse in ArcGIS Pro behave differently it does in ArcMap?

First, entering a negative number for radius makes no sense mathematically.

The below screenshot shows the traverse commands from ArcMap on the left, then from ArcGIS Pro on the right hand side of the screen.  The thin green line is produced from ArcMap which is correct. The thick dark green line is produced from ArcGIS Pro.  The first curve is incorrect, that does not look like N 18-51-45 W at all, then the curve going south isn't correct either.  The green lines are a feature class in a SDE Geodatabase.

The Traverse in Pro allows you to enter overrides such as Chord Bearing, but you use keystrokes instead of using pick lists like you see in ArcMap. Try entering "N18-51-45W cb" in for the Direction on your curves and think you will get the expected result as it tells the traverse tool you are using a chord bearing override.

Here is a link to the Traverse Data entry shortcuts that give examples of entering courses and keystrokes for overrides and the grid field to use them in.

The thing I'm not finding is the ability to "Load Traverse From Sketch" which is very handy for me to edit the length of existing line segments.
