Hi! I am editing features within a geodatabase. One feature I edited contained 1,800 city boundaries in Texas. I selected all but 1 city boundary and deleted them. Then when I went to save the edit, ArcGIS Pro took nearly 10 minutes to save the deletion. Why is it so slow?
The geodatabase is stored locally and syncs with Google Drive.

Drive Desktop allows you access files stored in the cloud through your own filesystem. OneDrive for Desktop operates the same way. Editing (GIS data) in that environment will likely cause data corruption in addition to lag, file save errors, etc. From experience, I recommend downloading the files onto the local file system for local editing.

Are you using Google Drive Desktop (formerly File Stream) or Backup and Sync?
