Problem with drawing order in Contents Pane Arcgis Pro

Hi, I am experiencing troubles with ordering my different feature layers in the Contents Pane. 
It should be straightforward but I always get the red icon. 
I have selected the Drawing Order modality of course. 


Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

No, apparently it is called the No Symbol, this one: :prohibited:

Ok, it doesnt allow the symbol apparently. 
Basically it is a red circle with a diagonal line...

I installed the latest version of ArcGIS Pro yesterday (3.4.2) and since then I have been experiencing the same issue whereby I cannot reorder layers by dragging in the Contents pane and cannot drag items between other panes and the map frames. I've tried restarting my PC, but this did not resolve the issue.

Hi @Woosh_AP - whenever I see wonky behavior after an install of new software/updates, I find doing a soft reset of ArcGIS Pro to be of value.  You can learn more about this here.

Thanks. Neither soft reset procedures resolved the issue. Is there any way to roll back to version 3.4.0 or earlier?

Yes there is.  Go to your Control Panel and under Programs, click Uninstall a program.  In the Uninstall or change a program panel, top left, click installed updates.  In the Uninstall an update under ArcGIS Pro, you'll see the patch updates.  Right click ArcGIS Pro 3.4 Patch 2 (3.4.2) and select uninstall.  Then do the same for ArcGIS Pro 3.4 Patch 1 (3.4.1).  Now your ArcGIS Pro is at 3.4.0.

Hi @Robert_LeClair . Thanks for this. Unfortunately, under "View installed updates" I only see Windows updates. Is there another method to roll back or can I only uninstall the entire program and reinstall it?

Interesting.  So I do see 3.4.2 and 3.4.1 updates in my panel.  I guess the question is now, is do you have the patches installed to begin with?  You can go to the Project tab and click About to see what's installed.uninstall1.JPGuninstall2.JPG
