Hi all,

I'm hoping I'm missing some really simple solution for this. I need to divide the Salish Sea into five subareas, Strait of Juan de Fuca, Hood Canal, Puget Sound, San Juan Islands, and Gulf Islands/Strait of Georgia. Thus far I have created a stand-along feature class and plan on using the freehand polygon tool to manually create these subareas. However, this seems rather tedious given the complex shorelines.

I've searched ArcGIS Online for any marine boundaries that might fit the bill but haven't come across anything like what I need.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
