Hi,

Anyone knows if this is possible to achieve? Basically, I have a set of building footprint and want to determine which way they are oriented. You know like in Feng Shui stuff, they have direction of house facing east as lucky or unlucky...something like that. How do I achieve this?

Cheers,

Charlie

Thanks, I used a different tool called Euclidean Direction and Clipped the Raster against the building footprints, then ran Zonal Statistics (mean) to get average direction value within a polygon, then assigned the compass direction accordingly (Select by Attributes, Field Calculation)
