How to set default compression of PDF exports?

When exporting to PDF, the default compression is set to 80 (in jpeg or adaptive compression modes). But 75 significantly reduces the size of the PDF without losing compression quality.

Is there a way to set the default for this for all Pro projects? I can't see anything in the Pro Options menu.

Right now there isn't a way to set the default, but once you export one PDF with the lower compression, it should be remembered. Unless you change the compression again, every time you open the pane it should still be set to 75.

We are currently exploring new ways to support default kinds of settings in future versions of ArcGIS Pro.

@AubriKinghorn thanks for the reply. I thought this might be the case. I'm aware that the 75 value remains during the Pro session. But new Projects (and even when opening up old saved projects where PDfs have previously been exported at 75) will revert back to 80. Would be great to have all export format setting defaults configurable in a Project template.
